delight to play. Superb tone, excellent, free slide
and tuning slide. A few very minor marks and a little

Description
/ condition = Yamaha Xeno Cornet in bright silver
plate - model YCR8335G, in top-class condition (about
2 years old), with 1 mouthpiece, David King mouthpiece,
and xeno case. Mint condition. Hardly used due to
me using a band instrument. Cost over ?2,000 new.
The
Xeno cornets were developed in close collaboration
with some of the worlds best players and in particular
David King, cornet soloist, Head of Performance Studies
at the University of Salford and principal conductor
of the Brighouse and Raistrick band. David worked
closely with Frankfurt based Yamaha R&D expert
Thomas Lubitz, and the new instruments result from
21/2 years of research and experiments.

Description / condition = The design of the Besson
BE982 EEb tuba is one of the most famous designs in
history of tuba develoment. Made famous by the legendary
John Fletcher who advised on its design, it has for
a couple of generations been regarded as possessing
the ultimate rich tone in bands and also professional
symphony orchestras.
This
EEb tuba has the same body and valves group as the
BE981 but has a slitly smaller leadpipe giving a more
ringing sound. Its carrying rings enable this instrument
to be played in marching position.
Constructed
with a larger bore mouthpipe, this tuba produces a
wider symphonic tone. Considered a "concert"
model, the tuba is designed for playing in the seated
position. A lower position mouthpipe offers comfort
to the symphonic player whether they be playing in
a concert band or symphony orchestra.
Plays
well - good valves - Some dents but overall appearance
is very good - About 10 years old - Hence the low
starting price.Comeplete with moulded case with wheels
and Silver Dennis Wick 4L Mouthpiece. |

Besson Sovereign euphonium, in very good used condition.
Owned by a trombone teacher, who only depped with
it, and then by my daughter who has now given up brass
playing. The silver plate is undamaged, and all valves

condition. Comes with a Wick SM4 and a Bach 6 1/2.

looking to sell my second hand four valve euphonium
originally bought from Fred Rhodes in 2001. Its a
Western Euphonium, full size, medium bore, valued
at £850 and in good condition. Good sound and
flexible valves, ideal for a student however would
also be suitable for an adult. Only fault is a slight
indentation on the bell.
